Violinist Leah Amory and Pianist Lucas Amory are brother and sister and make up the Rehmus Duo, who have performed concerts in New York, Milwaukee, the greater Philadelphia area, and held residencies in Vermont and Wisconsin. Collectively, they hold degrees from storied institutions such as the Curtis Institute, the Juilliard School, and Harvard College. While their repertoire is varied, they have a pre-dilection for 20th-century pieces, having presented the Prokofiev Violin Sonatas, the Schoenberg Phantasy, the Messiaen Theme and Variations, and the Strauss Violin Sonata all in recital in just the last year. They also get artistic beyond music performance, incorporating visual art, musical arrangement, and crossword construction into their performances. They count Erin Keefe and Seth Knopp among their mentors.
